To many (too many) confusing new terms are not always so helpful in discussing webs and their development. Web Pages, Website, Web Publishing, Web this and Web that... If one isn't knowing much of the Internet, then what we have comes close to confusion.

For simplicity sake, creating pages for a web includes procedures that are synonymous with creating brochures, books, or magazines for publication. Although there is a twist to this, it's a comprehensive beginning. Pages within a site are described as a WEB, because of the way links work. Certain Link-able Text and Images are the electronic binding of the site, using a point and click application, and can effectively navigate a viewer with ease of reading a book.

Selecting Body Copy or the Text, creating art or Images (photos, backgrounds, graphics, image maps, animations), adding sound, and creating HTML code files are elements to begin with in order to structure the Design and Layout of any web. This takes time to plan, yet when a viewer visits the site or location, the planning benefits both your viewers and you, in the long run.

Intra-nets work outside the realm of the world wide web, keeping your business private, within your own company; though you may opt to choose to set-up a site to advertise your services within the Internet's branch of the World Wide Web by connecting to an Internet Service Provider. Once you're understanding more of how it works, you can decide on as simple or unlimited website as you like.

If you are interested in beginning a new WEB, or redesigning your existing one, the pages herein suggest basic guidelines to keep in mind or you may want to contact a consultant at marketing@treelink.com for the evolution of your web, as this one also continues to grow.
